As an IT Analyst in OSS Deployment (Spore) the primary roles will be to deliver new or improved IT solutions that improve business efficiency and productivity. He/She will be responsible to
Gather requirements using the various technique like interviews, document analysis, requirement workshops, use cases, scenarios
Evaluate information gathered. Decompose high level information into details, abstract up from low level information.
Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions
Work independently with users to define concepts/project objectives/business case and develop high level e2e solutions including development effort estimate
Work and manage the outsourced development team to deliver the solutions
Perform review and acceptance of deliverables by outsourced team
Be the liaison between the business units, security or infrastructure teams, outsourced development team and support teams
Perform project management responsibilities like manage scope, budget and timeline including management update
The candidate must have a recognized Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology or other related discipline with at least 2 years working experience as a Business Analyst or IT analyst:
Strong analytical and product mgmt. skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operation requirements
Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact professionally with all level of staff
A strong business and technical understanding in the various domains: network inventory (or resource management), service activation, outside plant applications.
Past working experience with Intergraph Products and good knowledge of graphical information management system (GIS) are critical for this position.
Past working experience on the following development technologies, tools, environment and skills will be an advantage:
a) Graphical-based or GUI Form-based application development using:-
Microsoft .Net Framework and Web-based technologies.
.Net programming languages –C# and Visual Basic
