Public Relations – Assistant Manager/ ExecutivePosted Date: 12 Jun 2013

Requirements

Incumbent must be passionate about public relations in the luxury fashion industry and have the following requisites:

-           Degree / Diploma in Mass Communications/Marketing/PR

-           5 years of experience in the fashion industry will be advantageous

-           Good written and communication skills

-           Dynamic, creative, good organizational skills and systematic

-           Pleasant personality and ability to interact well with people at all levels

-           Able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

 

Responsibilities 

Press rack coordination / scheduling

-                      work with VM department on press room merchandising to be in line with in-store guidelines

-                      supervise press loans schedule for Singapore, SEA and Oceania

-                      supervise samples collection & return of packages

-                      liaise with regional office as well local stylists and editors on sample loans

-                      participate in selected fashion shoots

 

Editorial monitoring

-                      magazines review / tagging

-                      responsible for monthly editorials clippings to track local editorial coverage

-                      supervise the tabulation and compilation of monthly editorial reports for Hong Kong or any other ad-hoc key editorial reports requests

-                      ensure weekly editorials are uploaded to HK and Paris FTP sites

 

Public relations

-                      management of incoming queries from external parties / journalists on all press materials requirement eg. prices, stock availability, images, press kits, etc…

-                      responsible for the distribution of e-press kits/press releases & product/campaign newsletters of all categories of products sent from Paris to media so as to keep Dior at the top of their minds

-                      key contributor to development of proactive PR pitch plan (new collection pr product launches)

-                      incorporates online vehicles – social media and blogs into distribution plans to activate news robustly

-                      development of fortnightly experts list ‘on the news’ to promote selected product categories

 

Events

-                      work alongside marketing team to ensure that event runs in tandem with the brand’s global image / message.

-                      plan and execute local press presentations and other press related events

-                      plan for and travel with journalists on press junkets and special projects as assigned

 

Administrative

-                      supervise press / corporate gifts and materials inventory

-                      inventory control of magazines reception for monthly report clippings

-                      involvement of liaising between the different mall management team and boutiques on all necessary activities

-                      maintenance of PR library containing image, language and brand assets
