Manage the business administration and planning of Global Business. It involves the following day to day operations:
Play an active role in the business planning exercises, prepare and review the forecast/budget/action plans in accordance to management aspirations and Group?s needs.
Work with the stakeholders in the overseas offices and SG (e.g. Finance, Legal, Tax, Business Units) on business issues.
Work with different stakeholders to prepare business and financial analysis reports to facilitate management?s strategic and tactical decision making, including monthly and periodic management reports.
Monitor and analyse performances of GB
Participate in the business review meetings
Act as bridge between the overseas offices and different CFU/LOBs/Corporate functions in SG to lobby for the necessary support when required
Conduct ad-hoc project feasibility studies and draft proposals, presentations or approval papers to seek Management?s endorsement e.g. for setting up of new offices, expansion plans, capital injections into overseas offices, etc.
Develop continuous process improvements and introduce best practices to enhance operational efficiencies and effectiveness GB. This may include working closely with Finance/SPR to develop business performance management models/ tools.
Assist management in defining strategies to improve the competitiveness of GB.
Any other projects.
Requirements:
Possess a recognized degree in Finance / Accounting or Business Administration with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Good understanding of the ICT industry
Highly numerate and have an analytical mind. Have experience in business analysis.
Must be a self-starter, pro-active, creative, customer-oriented & able to multi-task.
Must possess good writing and communication skills; good managerial and leadership skills.
Should be confident in public speaking and has an outgoing personality.
